Detection in under a minute
Configurable polling interval (60 seconds by default). Urgent reviews are flagged and immediately escalated to the Safety Agent.
Feature · Watcher
Your patients write when they want. The Watcher reads every new review on your Google listing as soon as it goes live — including weekends and bank holidays.
No on-site install, no plugin to open: the Watcher runs as a background service that polls your Google listing on a configured interval and triggers the Safety Agent as soon as a new review is detected.
Configurable polling interval (60 seconds by default). Urgent reviews are flagged and immediately escalated to the Safety Agent.
Every review keeps the author, star rating, timestamp, language, exact text and the canonical URL on Google — useful for any reporting workflow.
Duplicates and Google-driven removals are detected and applied to your history automatically.
The Watcher reads reviews in the patient's own language. Multilingual reviews are stored in their original language and translated on demand.
The Watcher polls your practice's Google listing on a regular interval, normalises every review and triggers the Safety / Voice / Patient pipeline.
Once Google Business Profile is connected via OAuth, Revydo identifies the listing id and records the read authorisation.
The Watcher queries the Google Business Profile API and diffs the review list against the previous state to detect new arrivals.
Every new review is normalised (author, rating, language, text, URL), timestamped, and written to the audit log.
The review is immediately handed to the Safety Agent for risk classification, with no human action required.
Why now
Framework current as of September 2026.
Revydo does not reinvent the framework. It absorbs it into every agent, so compliance does not depend on a forgetful assistant.
Legal framework
An online review is protected speech, not a marketing artefact. Hosting platforms and the reviewed professional both have obligations to the publisher, including the right of reply and the limits on removal.
EU Directive 2000/31/EC and national transpositions
Personal data
Every review contains personal data. The act of drafting a reply, storing it, or displaying it alongside the review is processing under GDPR. A careless reply is a separate data event, not a footnote.
Regulation (EU) 2016/679
Professional ethics
Where the practice is regulated (medicine, law, dentistry, physiotherapy, etc.), the professional code of ethics stays enforceable inside the reply. A draft that confirms a client relationship or reveals a covered fact is a disciplinary risk, not a marketing choice.
National codes of professional conduct
Every 60 seconds by default. The interval is configurable per practice, with a 30-second minimum and a 5-minute maximum. Urgent reviews are flagged and trigger an immediate check.
The removal is detected on the next poll and applied to your history. The event is logged with its timestamp and Google's reported reason. If a reply was already published, the reply remains in the audit log but is no longer synced to Google.
No. The Watcher only reads public reviews on your Google Business Profile. No private patient data is collected, stored, or transmitted.
No. Access is restricted to the listings you have explicitly connected through Google's official OAuth flow. The Watcher does not aggregate reviews from third-party platforms (Booking, Trustpilot, etc.).
Go further
Once the review is detected, the Voice Agent drafts a reply in your practice's tone, and the Safety Agent locks down the sensitive situations.
