Review requests after every visit

Your happiest patients never write, on their own. A request sent at the right moment — by SMS, email or WhatsApp — multiplies the number of 5★ reviews collected each month by 4 to 6×.

The request is drafted in the patient's language, sent via the channel you have chosen, and contains a signed short link that opens a pre-filled Google review form. No health data is asked for or transmitted.

How review requests work

Timing calibrated to the practice

Default 4-hour delay after the visit (configurable by specialty). Patients who have complained in the practice do not receive a request.

Channel of your choice

SMS, email, WhatsApp or voice message — you choose the channel and the time window. The phone number is encrypted at rest.

Signed, pre-filled link

The link the patient opens is signed, single-use, and pre-fills the Google review form with the practice name.

No health data

No information about the reason for the visit, the clinician seen, or the outcome is included in the request. The message is strictly generic.

How a review request is sent

When a visit is marked complete in the system, the Patient Agent composes a neutral request, signs it, and sends it through the chosen channel.

  1. 1

    Visit is marked complete

The visit is marked complete (patient-record integration, end-of-consultation code, or calendar import).

  2. 2

    Compose the request

The Patient Agent composes a neutral message, in the patient's language, containing a signed single-use short link.

  3. 3

    Send via the chosen channel

The message is sent by SMS, email, WhatsApp or voice message, in the time window configured for the practice.

  4. 4

    Tracking and reminder window

If the patient has not clicked within 72 hours, no follow-up is sent (in line with professional-conduct rules).

Why now

Framework current as of September 2026.

Three bodies of law govern how you reply to an online review.

Revydo does not reinvent the framework. It absorbs it into every agent, so compliance does not depend on a forgetful assistant.

Legal framework

Consumer right to publish an online review

An online review is protected speech, not a marketing artefact. Hosting platforms and the reviewed professional both have obligations to the publisher, including the right of reply and the limits on removal.

EU Directive 2000/31/EC and national transpositions

Personal data

GDPR in force since May 2018

Every review contains personal data. The act of drafting a reply, storing it, or displaying it alongside the review is processing under GDPR. A careless reply is a separate data event, not a footnote.

Regulation (EU) 2016/679

Professional ethics

Codes of professional conduct

Where the practice is regulated (medicine, law, dentistry, physiotherapy, etc.), the professional code of ethics stays enforceable inside the reply. A draft that confirms a client relationship or reveals a covered fact is a disciplinary risk, not a marketing choice.

National codes of professional conduct

Frequently asked questions

What if a patient has complained in the practice?

No review request is sent to them. The Patient Agent relies on the visit marker (report, end-of-visit code) to identify visits that should not trigger a request.

Is the SMS compliant with the code of ethics?

Yes: the request is neutral, with no targeting by presumed satisfaction, and with no incentive. The wording is validated for each specialty by a professional-conduct board.

Can I disable requests for a period?

Yes. Requests can be paused at the practice level (holidays, overload, special context) and resumed with no loss of history.

Is the patient's phone number stored?

Yes, for the duration of the send. It is then removed from the request database and kept only in the patient record, where the retention window is the one you have configured.

More review requests mean more reviews to monitor. The Safety Agent escalates the sensitive cases, and the Watcher keeps the listing up to date.
